Prompted by the EU Single-Use Plastics Directive (SUP), the aim of this study was to find an alternative to ‘single-use’ products which are used once or for a short period of time before becoming waste.
We focused on PET to support a virtuous circle: we wanted to offer a product that could contain a very high level of recycled content, while also ensuring it could first be reused and then recycled.
This reasoning has culminated in RoboGREEN PET HT (high-temperature), an innovative, completely eco-sustainable product, which replaces the traditional PS and PP packaging products, increasing the thermal resistance of PET. This characteristic allows for new application possibilities (such as hot filling, pasteurization, reusability and dishwasher safety).
