We are extremely proud to announce that Roboplast has joined as a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), a world-class membership association that believes in the power of industry to make packaging more sustainable.

As a leading voice in sustainable packaging, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition aims to cooperate among companies, manufacturers and consumers to create packaging that is good for people and the environment. The mission is to bring together stakeholders in sustainable packaging to catalyze actionable improvements to packaging systems and provide an authoritative voice on packaging sustainability issues.

The association’s members, which include the most important industry stakeholders worldwide, are the backbone and driving force behind all the activities promoted. From 20 founders in 2004 to over 550 members today, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition continues to evolve to lead the market with thought leadership, inspiration and resources to pool.

The 4 pillars of the association are: INNOVATION, POLICY, PACKAGING DESIGN and RECOVERY. The pillars are how the principles of sustainable packaging are translated into action-focused efforts by members. Each pillar aims to help achieve the most pressing sustainable packaging goals, whether through research into new materials, guidance on the evolving legislative landscape, collaborations focused on end markets, or the latest recovery technologies.

This is another step forward in Roboplast’s commitment to environmental sustainability combined with product and consumer safety, as evidenced by our RoboAcademy and the full range of RoboGreen products.
